Earth Hour is an international event that asks households and businesses to turn off their lights and non-essential electrical appliances, it is a global event created to symbolize that each one of us, working together, can make a positive impact on climate change - no matter who we are or where we live.
Created by WWF in Sydney, Australia in 2007, Earth Hour has grown from a single event into a global movement. In 200, Earth Hour was a Sydney event, 2008 Earth Hour is a global movement! Earth Hour 2008 is happening on Saturday, March 29 from 8pm to 9pm. So to prove people and yourself that you love your earth and you can’t afford to lose it. Please turn off whatever you are using form 8pm to 9 pm tonight!!! You also can sign up as member, you will receive information on what you can do to be more involved in Earth Hour, including useful tools and tips.
